1350 THUNDER CAT SPECS:
LOA 13.5m - BEAM 5.1m - FUEL 1000 L - 50 pax maximum.
The rest is customizable to suit your requirements.
This new Noah Thompson THUNDER CAT design is a carefully blended selection of form, function, innovation, and experience. The design is based on fuel-efficient hulls, aerodynamic cabin, and open plan seating arrangements. Each vessel will be customized to suit the operator's choice in engines, electronics, and layout. Main features of the cat will be the front-loading ramp, aft fold-down dive platform, side doors, and long open side with drop down clear screens. The layout can be arranged in several ways depending on the operation. The maximum number of passengers is 50 seated for a short ferry run, 40 to 45 for longer runs with luggage. The toilets are stepped down into the hulls to allow 360-degree viewing. The open sides, or the full window option, create a light and spacious feeling. The hardtop allows for a translucent canvas to be put in to offer more light, or air ventilation depending on the climate of operation. The soft ride of the hulls coupled with a spacious and light feeling for passengers reduces fatigue and motion sickness. The forward landing ramp will be ideal for picking passengers up from remote locations, and the open sides are ideal for a close-up on the water viewing of upcoming America's cup 2021.
Speed and fuel economy will be based on power options from twin 627hp down to twin 250hp. There is an option of adding a hydrofoil system to some models. Other feature will include vinyl wrapping signage, unique paint schemes for charter fleets, and drop-down TVs for tourist operations.
