960 BLACKFISH POWER CAT

​The 960 BLACKFISH is finally here and exceeds all expectations. This is a generation 3 hull shape I have been working on in CFD (computational fluid dynamics), and the real-world results are everything that the program said it would do. The fully loaded boat with 4 guys, 200l water, and 800l fuel powered by twin 250 Evinrudes cruises beautiful at 35 to 37 knots all day. The hull banks inward like a monohull, so you can confidently put this cat into a tight turn at 32 knots. The design is specifically set up for fishing for a group and offers plenty of fishing deck space down either side. The transom is set up for easy walk-around fishing and docking. The large bi-folding door/window opens the cabin to the aft deck with flip-back seats to watch the lures. The BLACKFISH range of boats is customised to each owner’s requirements.
